So I’m releasing music for the very first time. I haven’t even really performed too much, but I’ve always wanted to do music.
Music is something that really has always spoken to me. I always want to have music playing. I never want silence, and music is a way that I connect to people. And this is just kind of the evolution of that: writing music that communicates with people.
I’ve spent quite a bit of time writing songs. Many, many, many songs. Some of them really stupid. Some of them really sad. Some of them really silly. But there was a point where I realized that there was something I wanted to say, and that’s what became my album, Exposure Therapy.
I don’t want to give away too much just yet, because it’s not going to come out until early 2027. I am working hard at it actively, and it is going to happen.
But truthfully, I’m terrified. And you know, the song’s probably not going to sound like I’m terrified, but I am. I’ve put myself out there before. I’ve shared art and things like that, but this is something that is part of who I am. I’m sharing a piece of me with you, a piece of my mind, a piece of my heart, and a piece of my soul.
My first single, “Friends and Flames,” is an angry song inspired by recent events in Minneapolis. It was how I processed my feelings about everything.
I just want to reach some people, and I want this song to make a difference. I want all my songs to make a difference, but we’ll start with just this one.
“Friends and Flames” comes out October 23rd, which is less than a week away. Go ahead and pre-save, and browse my website. See what I’m all about.
Thank you for giving me the chance at all. Thank you.
