A diary, turned up.

Jeffrey X Guntly

Jeffrey X Guntly is a Minneapolis, Minnesota singer-songwriter who writes mostly pop-punk and strays a little into his own lane, adding strings and synths where a song needs them. Some songs are blunt and some are poetic, because he is not always in the same mood.

His influences include Fall Out Boy, Secondhand Serenade, Kesha, Taylor Swift, All Time Low and Linkin Park, with a little EDM and classical crossover mixed in. They do not sound alike, and he takes something from each to make something of his own.

His debut album, Exposure Therapy, is a very direct look at his own mental health. Writing it was itself an act of exposure therapy: retelling these stories until they felt different. It is a longer record than most this day and age, made independently and without a label's clock, and it is due early 2027. Friends and Flames, out October 23, 2026, is the first single.
